· I also have an OBM grinder, and am quite happy with it. I think it has been almost 2 years now. I would echo Wes''s comment that is workable, but more would be nice. · So I have an OBM grinder (not the best I know) and I am having issues with tracking solid. When I apply pressure to the belt, it wanders off to the left and if I push too hard I can stop it. It is the motor (running on 110v). I am running it on a VFD. It does this regardless of speed being used.
· I looked at OBM website and the description on the surface grinder says (also works on select other of the heavier duty grinders that accept ″ square aluminum tooling arms, it will not work with machines that use cheap steel tube tooling arms).; My question is: As long as the receiving arm is " square and rigid what difference does it make what they are made of?

If I had to buy another 1, I would make sure the motor bolts directly to the grinder frame like the brodbeck does and tw90 does for example.
